Your Guide to the 2027 Kansas City Boat & Sportshow
The Kansas City Boat & Sportshow returns to H. Roe Bartle Hall January 7-10, 2027. This page collects the practical details you need before you arrive: admission, show hours, what to bring, and where to find directions, parking, and maps. Check the Show Info and FAQ page for ticket questions, then use the sections below to build your visit plan. Return to the Kansas City Boat & Sportshow homepage for the latest show updates.
Most visitors spend two to four hours on the show floor. Families with kids often stay longer to catch seminars, test paddle boards in the pool, and browse fishing tackle deals. If you plan to compare boats or talk with dealers, arrive early on Thursday or Friday when crowds are lighter. Saturday draws the biggest crowds, so parking and popular booths fill up fast.
Before You Arrive
Admission is $15 for adults. Youth 16 and under get in free. Show hours run Thursday noon to 7 p.m., Friday noon to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Review the exhibitor list and show features before you go so you know which booths and attractions to hit first. Wear comfortable shoes. Bartle Hall covers more than 250,000 square feet of show floor. Bring a light jacket. Hall temperatures can vary between exhibit areas.
On Show Day
Arrive with a parking plan and your show map ready. Downtown Kansas City garages and surface lots fill quickly on Saturday. See our Getting to the Show page for driving directions and parking options. Pick up a show map at the entrance or preview the floor plan online. Block time for fishing and boating seminars if you want hands-on tips from pro anglers. ATMs and food vendors are available inside Bartle Hall if you need cash or a break between exhibit halls.
